Five guest rooms in Najac, facing the fortress

Les Gardes is a guest house in Najac, in Aveyron, with five rooms, all with a view of the medieval fortress.

The view is the same from every room, and a fine one; what changes is the way each room lets you enjoy your stay. All five are designed for two guests: two charming rooms, one character room and two rooms arranged over two levels.

Our five rooms

Alphonse de Poitiers and Marie-Antoinette

Charming rooms

View of the medieval fortress of Najac.

Alphonse de Poitiers and Marie-Antoinette are the two charming rooms of the house. They are equivalent: the same size, on the same floor.

The first is named after Alphonse de Poitiers, brother of King Louis IX (Saint Louis). It was on his orders that the fortress of Najac was rebuilt from 1253.

The character room: Louis XIV

Louis XIV is our character room, the only one of its kind: a room under the eaves, a little larger than the charming rooms.

The rooms over two levels: Napoléon and Joséphine

Napoléon and Joséphine are two rooms arranged over two levels, each equivalent to the other. They are the most spacious rooms in the house. Designed for two, they can also welcome a third guest aged 12 or over on an extra bed, for a supplement.

Part of every stay

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

The outdoor spaces are shared between the five rooms: a swimming pool, a tennis court, a jacuzzi, the orchard and a large panoramic terrace which, like the rooms, faces the fortress.

On request and at an extra charge, we prepare picnic baskets and apéritif platters; the platters are served on the terrace. In the evening, you choose your wine from the honesty bar.
